WHAT:
The Launch: Winter 2017 Lacrosse Showcase

This premier girls’ event allows players graduating

in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 to enter individually

and showcase themselves before Division II, III, and NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) college coaches while learning more about the game, networking with athletes and coaches, and acquiring more knowledge about the recruiting process.

PLAYER INFORMATION FOR COLLEGE COACHING BOOK, EMERGENCY AND INSURANCE WAIVER:

After you register, please click the player info, emergency and insurance waiver link to have your information in the college coaches’ book. This online form must be filled out before the showcase. 

 

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:

8:00 am - 8:30 am
Check-in (pinnies will be distributed / teams will be assigned / head shots)
8:30 am - 9:00 am
Recruiting Meeting lead by TBD (to occur between games) to be attended by athlete and/or parent: explanation of the recruiting process and the ins and outs of what parents and athletes must know)
9:00 - 9:15 am
Meet field coach and warm-up w team to prevent injury
9:20 am - 10:00 am
Skills & Drills Clinic coached by accomplished college coaches: 
For Shooting Drills Team 1 & 6 on Field 1, Teams 2 & 5 on Field 2, Teams 3 & 4 on Field 3.
For All other Drills: TEAMS 1, 2, and 3 on Field 1. TEAMS 4, 5, and 6 on Field 2.
Shooting drills (10 min): Power Shots & Cut, Catch Feed, Shot
1 v 1 Gauntlet (15 min): Each D gets 4 simultaneous reps
1 v 2 Cornell (15 min): Applying and beating double teams
3 v 2 Virginia (20 minutes): Continuous up and down transition drill
10:10 am - 12:10 pm

12:15 pm
Showcase Teams announced. 
12:20 pm - 12:50 pm 
Showcase Game: Full field game including (2) 15 minute halves
